Current Assignment

The Team has been assigned to the Chicken Hill Fire located 48 miles southwest of the town of La Grande, Oregon on the Wallowa-Whitman NF.

 
 
Welcome to the Washington Interagency Incident Management Team 2 website.  Rex Reed with the Department of Natural Resources serves as the Incident Commander on the team.
 
Team members include a wide variety of federal, state county and local agencies that come together to manage all-hazard emergency incidents, but predominantly manage the many wildfires throughout the Pacific Northwest Region.  The Incident Command System (ICS) is the management system and command structure used to direct all operations at the incident scene.  More than 45 members are part of the Washington Interagency Incident Management Team 2.
